Christ-Centered

WMC prepares the mind, body and soul of each student. Christ is at the center of everything we do in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the community. Each year we focus on a theme, incorporating our vision to Rise Up. What does it mean to rise up in hope, faith, love or grace in Christ as you encounter the joys and challenges of each day? It is our goal to partner with students’ families to give our students the tools to rise up in and out of the classrooms, on the stage, at work, on the playing field, between classes and when they move on beyond our walls.

Chapel
WMC has chapel two times a week with the annual themed focus. This can include special speakers from outside WMC such as pastors, youth pastors, chaplains, etc. It can also include staff and student speakers.

Spiritual Emphasis
Each year we focus on our annual theme in the fall and spring. These times of special and intentional focus include daily sessions of worship, speakers, singing, and small groups.

Service hours
Students are required to do 55 hours of community service during their time at WMC, culminating with a Senior Service Project. Some examples of these projects include organizing school-wide blood drives, volunteering to coach 5th and 6th grade basketball teams, growing gardens to donate flowers and vegetables to local organizations, canned food drives, and much more.
