¡Hola! I am Pilar Vanderstelt and I am blessed to serve WMC in the SI program. I was born and raised in Reynosa, México. I graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua with a degree in Pedagogy and the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas with a master’s degree in Human Development.
My educational experience ranges from preschool through college and spans over 25 years. Over the course of my teaching career in West Michigan, I have taught Spanish immersion at ZCS for five years and MCS for nine years.This is my 3rd year serving as SI director/coordinator.
Favorite Scripture:
I delight greatly in the Lord;my soul rejoices in my God.For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Interests
My favorite activities include spending time with family and friends, walking, reading, and dancing.
