I graduated from Miami University of Ohio with my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education.  I obtained my Masters of Classroom Teaching with a concentration in Fine Arts from University of Rio Grande and my gifted education certification came from Xavier University.  I have taught all grade levels K-8 and all subject areas at some point in my career.  Most recently I taught 7th grade language arts to remedial reading, regular education, and gifted students at Creekside Middle School in Fairfield, Ohio.  I also spent two years in the Curriculum and Instruction department as a literacy coach.  I am excited to join the WMC community!

Favorite Scripture:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Interests

Reading, spending time with my family, and going to a Michigan beach.
