God’s Grace | Romans 6:13-14
Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.
So often, Christians mistake what the Gospel is truly about. It isn’t as though they haven’t heard the right answers, but rather, they think that they have to follow laws or rules and that if they do the right things God will love them.
This is the opposite of the Gospel! You are not under law, you are under God’s grace, there is nothing you can do that will make God love you any more or less, he went to war for you because he loved you so much. He bought you with the price of his own son dying of the cross. God simply asks that in return, we honor him with our life!
