Tom Kuiper Named Boys and Girls Tennis Coach
Tom Kuiper will lead the WMC tennis program beginning this fall after serving the last two years as Assistant Coach for both the boys and girls teams.
Coach Kuiper played high school tennis at Holland Christian and played in leagues and groups for several years after that at Norton Pines.
“I really enjoy watching the players improve and witnessing their enthusiasm for the game, a game they can enjoy throughout their lives” says Kuiper, “I think it is important to be part of a team or group in high school, the social interactions and friendships that result are very beneficial to the players. Three of our kids, Charlie, Sam and Stella, will be seniors this coming school year and all either have or are currently playing tennis on the teams.”
WMC Athletic Director Ryan Slack is looking forward to having Coach Kuiper coach at WMC in a new capacity, “I am incredibly excited to have Tom be the leader of the tennis program here at WMC. Tom has worked with the tennis teams for the last two years and has been able to build great relationships with many of the students and I am excited to see how that grows in the future.
