WMC Ends Week with Good Friday Chapel

WMC Good Friday Chapel

Students were led in a call to worship by Pastor Jeremy Lenertz of First Wesleyan Church followed by a video and a time of singing led by Pastor Nate Visker of Ferrysburg Community Church. There was a reader’s theatre led by WMC students Jonathon Clausing and Belen Francis and WMC faculty David Miedema and Robin Tyink. The message, focused on God’s Outrageous Love, was given by Pastor Matt Eenigenburg of Celebration COmmunity Church.

The student response to the message was to post notes of thanksgiving to God’s Outrageous Love as exemplified by Christ’s death on the cross. Students placed post-it notes on the wall and were then led in a closing prayer by Principal Samuel Greer.
